Question about Marroitt rewards (not sure if anyone will know)
Dh stays at marroitt hotels mostly for work when he travels. He turns in the paper work once he gets back. Well we wanted to see what he has earned in points and he thought he signed up during one of the first times he stayed with them. I cant find anything with his work email or home email. I dont think he has signed up like he thinks he has just because I cant even get his password with his info on the site. Would I or him be able to call the rewards program to see if he is signed up, and if not would they be able to tell him how many points he has and how to get them once he does sign up?
Re: Question about Marroitt rewards (not sure if anyone will know)
We are in that program. If he was signed up, he would be getting mail from them offering credit cards and special deals. They would also ask him for his info when he checks in every time and offer him either something from the Marketplace or if he would like the rewards. We also received a Marriott Rewards Memeber card in the mail with our number on i.
My DH travels a lot for work too. He mostly stays at Starwood properties, but when they're not in the area (or his job says he has to stay there) he will stay at a Marriott property. He made silver status with them about two months ago, and we still haven't gotten his card. But we do get stuff in the mail all the time.
However, (I don't know his situation) if his company is paying for it he may not be getting the points. My husband has to pay out of his own pocket, fill out an expense report and then the company pays him back.
This is just food for though: He might want to consider switching to Starwood. It's a lot easier to get points and free rooms with them, then Marriott. IMO, I think they have nicer hotels. If you don't agree with me then you can just ignore this post.
Good Luck!!
