Moody Mondays

I don't know if today is going to be "moody" the entire day, but it sure is starting out that way.  It's humid in our house, I didn't sleep all that great, and I still have five days of work until vacation.  Basically I'm a total grump this morning and that's not a good thing.  Hopefully I can get out of this funk soon.

So what is it ladies?  Is today going to be a moody one for you or will it be marvelous?

Re: Moody Mondays

  • Stick out tongue  Mine might be marvelous today - too soon to say.  I haven't gotten to work yet!

I'm still surfing my "farmer's Market" high from yesterday.  Such good produce available locally right now and I got to eat the first local sweet corn last night.  Might have gone overboard but the stuff that has been in the stores up til now has been horrible.  DH and I had BLTs last night with the yummy tomatoes and lettuce I got as well.  so good.

Tonight is the bridal shower for the demanding 'zilla from my vent last week.  I emailed her last week asking if I should make a copy of my favorite wedding photo that she requested or if I'd get it back that night.  She has no intention of returning them!  I quick called my Mom because I'm pretty sure she can't make a copy of hers and didn't want it to get lost. It isn't like she has digital copies!  She's even more steamed now because there isn't really time to get a hold of everyone to tell them too.  I think she's going to be terribly happy when this shower is all done.

  • Moody.  Definitely moody.  A co-worker came in sick last week, so I came down with a cold over the weekend.  Apparently, Mini Muffin wasn't a fan of this cold because yesterday I spent the day violently ill, couldn't even keep water down.  So far, so good today, but I still just feel crappy.  Seriously, I think colds in the summer are ridiculous.  Vent over.
  • Def moody here.  Had to work this weekend which sucked then spent the rest of time cleaning, doing laundry, and studying for a test this week.  I slept like poop last night and kept having some really weird nightmares.  That alarm went off way too soon this morning.  I will be so happy when 5pm get here today.

  • Moody. For sure. I had to do some stuff at work until 230 am last night, and then I was trying to sleep in a little, and DH was making SO MUCH NOISE. And he left for work while I was still in bed, and he hid my phone charger. My phone is so dead that the radio turned off... and i cant charge it. GREAT.
  • SOOOO Moody! This has been one of those mornings where you just want to say eff it and get back in bed. DH didn't let the dog out this morning (he wakes up first) so the dog peed in his kennel (again) after I had just given him a bath yesterday for the millionth time (I will be so glad when this bladder infection clears up). Then DH thought he would be nice and let me sleep in, causing me to be late for work. Trying to rush to get out of the house, let the dog out to go to the bathroom, phone rings and its the dentist calling to re-re-confirm my appointment tomorrow and to move it up for the third time. Then the lady on the phone tells me they forgot to save my insurance info so could we go over it again, I say no she gets p!ssy. Meanwhile the dog has gotten out and I have to chase him all around the front yard to get him back in the house, step in dog poop and he bites me because he doesn't want me to pick him up (news flash buddy you smell like pee and I don't want to pick you up either). Then go get coffe to go and it leaks everywhere, stuck in traffic making me more late, and its pouring raining. Plus I have a bunch of work to catch up on from Fri....so def. def. MOODY!
  • Moody. I have an appointment with my ortho about my knee, and I'm afraid he's just going to recommend another round of PT. He seriously can't figure out what is wrong with me. I work at 3, and am scheduled to train New Girl. I drank too much yesterday and am feeling like a hippo.

Here's hoping it's better than you expect!

  • Just Meh today.  I don't really want to be at work, but nothing particularly awful or offensive has happened or been uttered yet--unusual by noon.

Glad that the Clam Festival is finally shipping out of town.  There was a huge influx of people from away this weekend and while it was great for the town, etc, it was really difficult to get anywhere else.

I can already tell that this week is going to be a long one.

  • Just meh.  I was early to work, and I have enough stuff to keep me busy, so the time is flying by.  However, someone in the office is grouchy--I'm not going to let her drain my energy.  Unfortunately, the smelly-crazy one is returning from a 1 1/2 week vacation tomorrow.  The office has been, for the most part, pleasant with her gone.  This just shows me I need to find a job in another department to get away from the negativity of this one.

  • My Monday was not so moody but not so marvelous either. I went camping this weekend while The Mr. stayed home and worked. The first night it was just me and a friend of mine until like midnight. We had finally resigned ourselves to believe that no one else was going to make it and so we proceeded to drink. We're half in the bag when everyone else finally shows and they are p!ssed because they have been driving around for ages and couldn't find us. We're like whatever, you had the same directions I did and I made it just fine. There was, by the way, signs up but no cell service. So me and friend say eff it and continue to drink and stay up until 5am.

Next day one of the couples gets in a fight and decide to not talk to each other, the wife also decides she's not talking to anyone else either and sits in the camper pretty much all day and all night. Of the other couple the wife is pregnant and therefore can't really walk, can't lift, can't eat anything, can't be in the sun, can't work, shouldn't be around smoke and proceeds to talk about nothing about labour, her baby and how much she hopes she doesn't tear like her sister in law!!! You are 3mths pregnant and perfectly healthy. I don't want to hear about vaginal tearing on my "relaxing" camping trip. Friend and I decide this calls for more drinking and staying up until 4.

On Sunday it rains and we are all up and out of bed at like 9. We pack our stuff and pull out of the campsite and head home. I think I was probably way to sleep deprived and hung over to be on any major highway but make it home fine. I'm so tired when I get there but decide not to sleep because I need to sleep well tonight because I have to work at 730 this am. Well let me tell you I was super zombie of the north at work today. I was just on the boarder of functioning and sleep. Usually my camp trips consist of about 3 beer, reading a good book and being in bed by midnight...not so this time around and i'm paying for it. Good news is so it my friend LOL.
