So I went to Yesterdog for the first time..
We were in the area for a concert at Mulligans (Nick's really good friend was in the band), and neened to eat, so we strolled down to Yesterdog. Not going to lie, it wasn't anything like I expected. We walked in, ordered (in no special way), got our food and sat down. Food was, meh, nothing special. I honestly wouldn't go out of my way to go there again. I don't understand the big deal about that place. Am I missing something?
Re: So I went to Yesterdog for the first time..
I know what you mean. The smell of that place almost made me lose my appetite too. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
Oh. You both have sealed the deal for me. I have never been and now I probably won't. I should mention though, I don't even like hot dogs. The H, however has been trying to convince to give them a try. Now I will stand firm with my decision.
HATERZ!
Now I want Yesterdog for lunch...
I have to say, I agree... I mean they make an okay dog, but really can't come even close to a good Detroit coney (Lafayette, Lipuma's in Rochester, etc).
I thought the chili was super bland, and to put ketchup on a chili dog is just gah-ross IMO!
