"Powering the Future" on Discovery Channel
Did anyone see it last night? I watched some of it (between taking care of the baby).
It was pretty good - a lot of it was simplified, but that's always a good thing for the general public.
I will probably try to catch it again. There was a lot of interesting stuff about where renewable energy like solar or wind is maximized, but how we don't have the energy grid for it, and how much energy we would need to make a 'dent' in current use. They also talked a lot about development in China and India, including things like energy usage compared to the US and consumerism.
