"Trashy" Picnic/BBQ Decor
So, the theme for DH's birthday is "Jim?s Dirty 30 Mustache Bash", and I'm trying to figure out some creative decor ideas. I picked up a roll of "picnicy" red and white checked table covering at the party store, and then just totally blanked, which really isn't like me at all. I thought of cutting the tops off of some beer cans and putting some wild flowers in as centerpieces, but that's really all I've come up with.
I figured I'd throw it out there to see if anyone else had any ideas for the day. Thanks!

Oooohhh I did this for my DW. I called it "Dirty 30 Birthday Bash". I had a local band Dirty Monkey play. Most people brought "dirty gifts". All the close friends went to Spencers and got the gift bags with the girls on them. My aunt made a boobie cake. I did a big poster with baby-current pics. We had friends write down a "dirty little secret" and drop it in a box. After everyone was buzzed we had the bday girl read the "dirty little secret" and try to gues whoes it was. Hope this gives you some ideas.
PS. this was an adult only party.
Almost forgot... We used a mini blow up doll as the guest book and everyone signed it. It made for great photo ops.
What do you mean by trashy...kind of like red-necky or trashy like dirty sex stuff.
I would do the beer cans as citronella candle holders (assuming it's outside)
You can always buy Mason jars for cheap at Wal-mart or somewhere similar and use those as cups...that about all i got sorry couldnt be more help
