Hello ladies...
I'm planning a lingerie party for a friend who's getting married in September. The ages range from 25-50ish and I wanted to get some ideas on games that we can play that aren't too raunchy! Any ideas??
Re: Bridal Lingerie Party
FUN! Here are the games we played at a lingerie shower I attended:
Decorate A Pair of Panties: Have some Granny Panties available in the brides size along with craft items like pom*poms and glitter pens. *The Bride is not to know about this game*. As guests arive at the party, have them decorate a pair of panties for the bride. Later on in the evening, have the bride "model" them for the guests (over her pants of course). The bride picks which pair she likes the best. The person who decorated them wins a prize.
Trapped Weiner- This game was an absolute BLAST! What you need: mousetraps, string, and hotdogs. What you do: Tie a string around each guests waist with a hotdog tied at the other end. The object is to be the first to get the hotdog trapped in the mousetrap. This game resulted in laughs from all of the guests.
How well do you know the groom?- This game requires some prep, but is a ton of fun. WITHOUT the Bride knowing- ask the Groom-to-be a set of questions ranging from childhood pets to favorite colors. (I have a great list if you would like it). At the party, ask the guests to write down how many questions they think the bride will get right (out of how many questions were asked). Proceed to ask the bride how SHE thinks the GROOM answered. The guest with the closest number right wins a prize. This game also resulted in many laughs.
One of my favorite food ideas they had at the party was chocolate covered bananas... some dipped in peanuts and a bowl or blueberries in the middle with a sign that said "thinking dirty"? Also, if you or you know someone who can decorate cookies... they had lingerie cookies that were super cute! Oh! And the cake looked like a corset!
If you need any more ideas just let me know!
My friends threw me a "Naughty and Nice" shower. One thing that went with the theme:
Mystery Box -- There was a wrapped box that was passed around the circle. All that was said was "the person who ends up with it has to wear whatever is inside!" Of course, since it was a lingire shower, we all assumed it was going to be something scandalous. It was hilarious watching everyone trying to NOT end up with the box. When it was opened, it turned out to be a really beautiful rose corsage (the idea being you thought it would be "naughty" but it was really something "nice").
