Need help IDing flowering trees (in North Texas)

Tree #1- OMG this is the most amazing smelling tree ever. I have never seen this tree or smelled one like it before. It's really strong and even with most of the blooms off it still smells fantastic. We take a walk specifically to pass this tree and smell it.

Tree #2- Never seen this one before in a local nuersery. Beautiful blue spikes of flowers, no smell.

TIA!
