So...I had my first observation today
It went great! I was so nervous that I woke up a 4:00am. I only got 2 "no's" out of the entire evaluation sheet and I agreed with her one those so I don't feel too bad about them. I survived and now I'm ready to get the other 3 out of the way.
Re: So...I had my first observation today
You have a total of 4??? that's crazy! Our non-tenured teachers only have 2 this year, and tenured teachers (me) only have 1 and it's unannounced. I'm waiting for mine to be coming soon...
Glad your observation went well.

thanks everyone for your well wishes...although I've been in the classroom for 4 years it still freaks me out to have someone observing me. i can't wait to be finished with school.
I know you are relieved to have one out of the way! It is a very stressful situation...having someone observing you work....but it sounds like it went very well
I sorta feel your pain. My hubby just changed school systems....so he is having to start over again! He just had his first observation this week....and all of the rest of his are going to be unannounced...yikes!!!!
