Kabobs
Not sure if you guys know this, but I am a pretty lame cook. We are surprising my mom with dinner tonight in celebration of her new job, and my sister (the amazing cook) is working all day and asked me to prepare the meat! AHH!
I think I will do kabobs, chicken and steak. Normally, I do onions and peppers with chicken and steak. I would like to try another set of something with them, like maybe pineapple and something else? Any ideas?

What about using the onions & peppers with the steak and then use the pineapple with the chicken?

Pineapple, onions and peppers sounds delish to me with all those meats!
We made them camping actually, and the fruit is a great idea, as well as cherry tomotoes, small potatoes, mushrooms and chunks of cauliflower are yummy too!
You can marinate for a few hours before and it is oh, so yummy!
