I was going to mention that it would probably be best if everyone just planned on bringing cash.  It will make it so much easier than trying to split checks up, or having portions put on cards.  With that many people it will be enough work for them anyway, might as well try to make it just a little easier by paying in cash!

Ditto! Cash is probably easiest, if most people can swing that. I'm sure they wouldn't mind doing separate checks for a couple of people, but the more we can pool together with cash, the easier it will be.

I'm pretty darn good with numbers, so if the accountant ( Tay!) doesn't wanna volunteer for it, I can make sure we're good with paying! Also, most restaurants (but sometimes it's at the discretion of the server) will put an automatic gratuity on a group as big as ours. So don't be surprised if it's on there! (A lot of times the menus even say, "Gratuity added to groups of 8 or more", etc)

He won't really have a problem with it. He'll just give me a funny look:) I was on another forum for destination brides and would talk about that so it's not a really new concept to him it's just that none of them met up on this side of the country so I've never done a GTG before.
