What can I do near Cleveland?
We're going to visit MIL for a Saturday near Canton/Massillon/Cleveland area. We'll probably get there around noon-ish, and as much as I'd love to sit around staring at the walls all day and eating out at DHs favorite hometown restaurants I'm hoping we can actually do an activity together and get out of the house (last time the highlight was the Rubbermade store and Walmart). It can't involve too much walking for MIL so the zoo is probably out. We'll be at a park/family reunion the next day too.

We like to walk around Chagrin Falls. It's a cute little town and there is a walk down to the bottom of the falls for a ncie lookout.
There are all sorts of cute little shops and stuff and the whole thing is only a block (maybe three) at the most. Thre is a very chi chi baby store there, Offspring.

And there is a nice park that you can sit at just up from the falls. Not to mention a candy/popcorn/icecream shop that is AWESOME. it's very mom and pop and it's got oodles of fun candies.
Everything is right around the falls all the "walking", and lookouts and stuff.
Bah! I typed out this long ass addition and the nest lost it!
I had links and stuff but you can google and find it.
Big Fun, Cleveland Heights, is a huge toy store but like 80's toys. it was fun to walk around. They have another one in Lakewood I think.
Bodies the exhibit is downtown (although I wouldn't take ds)
Solon, Ohio is having their summer fest this weekend. You could always go swim in Lake Erie too.
>> so where is he from?
massillon is not so close to cleveland... you could do the football hall of fame, it's in canton. the game is the 8th so they should be working on getting it all decked out. also harry london is in that general area and you can do tours there. holmes county is always beautiful.
