Re: Hello Again!
Hi! I just got back from Orlando last night. It was 100 degrees here when my flight landed at 4:30. Having lived in Florida the past two years, I thought summer anywhere else would be easy. Is it always this hot here?
Other than the crazy heat, my summer is going well. How about you?
My summer is hot. Can you believe how warm it is around here? To answer your question, yes it has always been this hot here, but usually only during the last week of July and through August. I think it just got exceptionally warm very quickly this year.
I can't wait for fall to roll around! I miss walking around Maymont, and it's just too stinking hot to do that right now.
Ahhh, I miss Richmond and Maymont and Shockoe Bottom? so seriously need to move back. Anybody know anyone hiring graphic artists?? Seriously???
But, yeah, this heat is definitely premature this year. I had heard rumors we would have a hot summer because we had so much snow this year - an unusual amount for Virginia anyway. Guess those folks were right.
Doing well down here, husband just returned from deployment so we're readjusting to him being home and making plans for what we want to do now. And moving away from this area ranks up there - and Richmond was definitely mentioned as a possibility. Charlottesville, Lexington and other mountainous terrain was also mentioned.
