Have sex?! we used to have it everday and now we are at about 2-3 times a week. We both work alot and have been married for 3 years now....does it get less and less or is it just a stage we are going through while we get used to our new lives?

I have it about 2-3 times a week unless he is out of town that week. Supposedly, if you are married in your 20's stats wise you are having more sex than a couple in their 30's and then when the kids come, it is down to almost nothing. This is what I hear though and it can still vary with couples.

When DH and I first got married it was like once every couple of weeks. So, as I said before not every couple is alike.

DH means Dear Husband or Darling Husband or potentially Douchie Husband.  

DH and I have sex once a week or so.  It works for us and we're both happy with it

Really depends on the week, both of us work demanding jobs and many times we are just too tired to even consider sex.  Its always been that way though, we never had a time in our lives together we could have the time to have sex every day.  I would say probably a few times a month if we are lucky, normally there is a week we don't have sex since I am on my period.

It varies widely. The week I leading up to ovulation my sex drive is through the roof, so we have sex every day, often more than once a day. During my period my sex drive is non-existant, so we usually don't have sex that week at all (although I'll try to give my husband something). The rest of the month is somewhere in between, probably 2-3x week.

For us it totally depends on the time of month as well as whats going on in our personal and professional lives. I would say on average that its about 2 - 3 times per week. If its directly at the end or after my period, its probably more as I'm usually horny as all hell. I also will experience a small lull right before my period starts when everything starts to feel engorged, etc. However, both DH and I have really active sex drives so that usually doesn't matter. It also helps that I'm almost guaranteed to have orgasm during each session, so its not hard to enjoy sex or the release it brings. I should also clarify that DH probably gets head an additional 2 - 3 times a week, so, hes generally pretty satisfied. Now, depending on personal and professional stress, E.g. Lots of travel, family holidays, project load, this can all ebb and flow a bit. But generally neither of us ever has to complain about frequency. We also try to keep things active by making sure we never fall into a sexual rut, and both of us always stay cognizant of making the effort to spice-up our sex lives. Whether its a new toy, just stopping for a random session in a parking deck or somewhere else voyeuristic, we keep the love lamp alive. So many of our friends talk about their ongoing sexual ruts, and it always surprises me how much that seems to be stressed by them not making an effort, or they have begun to live separate loves, or most times the ongoing stress of children. I always envisioned that if your children are integral parts of your life, just like your sex life should be, that you make time. If you enjoy being with your partner, and enjoy the special intimate relationship you share, you have to make sacrifices. Sometimes you are tires and your partner is not...Make the effort. Because chances are, in a few days that scenario will be flipped and you're the horny one. I think love making, like anything else in life, is about making compromises, staying interested in your partners feelings and desires, and most of all reminding yourself of the fact that if your job, family, economy, etc were to fall to the way-side, that individual will always be there for you, and you will always be there for him/her. Sorry if I went on a bit of a tangent...

When we were dating and during the engagement it was a couple times a day.. no lie! But that started to dwindle since we live underneath unruly neighbors and it's hard to get in that mood with ridiculous noise going on up above.. so it usually has to wait until around bed time so now it's dropped to once a day, sometimes it's twice, but that's usually on the weekends when we have it first thing in the morning too. We can't wait to get our own house, but then we'll be having kids so I'm sure it'll go back up and then drop considerably.

We can only have sex on the weekends :-( He works a dayshift, I work a nightshift, so when he's awake I'm asleep and vice versa.

we are newlyweds and still only make love 2-3 times a week. depending on how tired he is or i am. early in our relationship, there was one weekend when we made love like 7-8 times and the last time, he couldnt even ejaculate. sometimes, i wish we had another weekend like that, but that was before we were living together, before i started school, before we were sharing a car...so basically, life gets in the way. there have been a few weeks where we dont have sex at all. he complains but those are usually the weeks that i get fed up with him only wanting sex on sunday and monday (those are his usual days off)

We have been married almost a month and we have sex at least 5 times a week. before we got married I used to give him shittt cuz we did it every 2 days religiously. We have 7 kids between us and they all live i3wth us. We both work and I am a student. We make time.....its as important as family time with the kids. Sure we are busy but we work it out.

Unless one of us is really sick, its every day. I say that but this week was the exception. He did something really assy and I was pissed so he got none on Tuesday night (and Wednesday morning) and he acted so deprived. 

Normally, its 1-3 times a night. That includes vag, anal and oral sex. Not every one every night. It doesnt matter what time of the month or where we are- its pretty much going to happen.

I know plenty of people who have sex once a month or so.  Just very few who admit it.
