Newbie Meetup!

Hi Everybody!

I've been trying to make friends after getting married and moving to Chapel Hill. I'm new to the nest too! How many people would like to meet up for a fun evening? I want to host a Pampered Chef cooking show for nesties. We'll learn how to make some delicious appetizers together, then just socialize and eat! Respond to this post if you're interested so I can plan it. If there are a lot of replies, we'll probably make it a grilling thing by the pool/volleyball court/tennis court. That sounds interesting!  I am also new to the nest, just started posting things in the last couple days.  I drive by Chapel Hill everyday on my way to work in RTP, and depending on where in Chapel Hill I think it's like a 35-40 minute drive from the house.  I love pampered chef, though DH hates me bringing home more kitchen items - his aunts threw a pampered chef bridal shower for me and I received a lot of items.  It'd be really nice to meet people, since DH travels a lot for work, I'm originally from Ohio (moved for college) and most of my college friends moved away.  Let me know what you decide!

I'd be interested!  I just moved to CH myself from another area. I work from home, so don't get a lot of opportunity to meet people.  I'm starting to go to cycling groups, but hanging out and not having to work my a$$ off at the same time sounds nice!

I haven't posted here in probably a month- I'm a teacher and now that it's summer I've been busy and off-routine. Oh well. Anyways, I'd be interested in something like that. I've lived in NC for two years and still haven't met many people outside of work. I'm definitely interested in some kind of meet up this summer

I'd like to meet some new people as well! I'm pretty new to the area and haven't met many people, but it would depend on when the meet up is. In a couple weeks, I'll be out of town for about 11 days, but other than that I'm pretty flexible.
