Any recommendations for an orthopedist?
Hi Ladies,
It has now been 5 weeks of rest for my stupid sprained ankle, and my 8th consecutive day of staying home without leaving my front door so my stupid foot can rest. It still hurts! I am extremely frustrated. I saw an ortho 4 weeks ago but I think he gave me bad advice. Does anyone have a recommendation for an ortho that might take this seriously? Uptown and or east side preferred so it's easier for me to get to!

Hi-I have gone to a good orthopedist team, but they are at the Phillips Ambulatory Center (Beth Israel) at 10 East Union Square.
One ortho is Dr. Hubbard, number 212.844.6940. I have gone to him for a sprained foot. The other ortho is Dr. Steven Arsht, number 212.844.6755. I am going to him now for a knee problem (getting a new knee).
