When we contemplate numbers, we marvel at the sheer number of humans who populate this planet, concerned with diminishing resources, environmental destruction, and climate ramifications; certainly human population increases are causative, but this focus disregards one of the greatest environmental challenges, a significant contributor to ecological ruination and which has the most substantially-negative impact on non-human populations: animal agriculture.
