Have you guys seen these statues?

They put them out in like March but I didn't realize there were so many of them (31!)  It's kinda cool to walk around around and find them in places, but I could imagine how freaked out unknowing people must be to see them at roof edges.

Re: Have you guys seen these statues?

  • That is really neat, thanks for sharing!
  • I noticed them at the BBQ festival a few weekends ago, if you stand at the north-west corner of Madison Square Park you can see at least 7 of them on different buildings, and one right on the street...very cool but it definitely freaked me out a little when I first saw them.

  • The first one I saw (like a million times before noticing any others) is the one right on the ground there at 23rd St & 5th/Bdway, so the others didn't bother me.  I catch the xbus right at 22nd & Bdway so I look for others while I'm standing there.

  • some of them look like they're about to jump off of buildings, which is pretty scary to see when you're not expecting it.  but some are funny...there's a naked one on the ground right near madison square park.  and it's a boy!  (teehee!)
