Hello: A NY'er Coming to FLA

Hey ladies. My H and I are heading down to Ft Lauderdale for our 1st Anniversary and I was wondering if any of you had any nice resturant suggestions for us. We'll be staying at a condo in Weston, but I'd like to go out for a nice dinner for our Anniversary.

Maybe Houston's. It's on the pricey side, but if you want to splurge on your anniversary this would be the place to do it. There is one in Boca and one in Pompano Beach. The Pompano location would be closer to Weston, and it's on the Intracoastal waterway so you get a nice view.

If you want something a little less expensive, there's a place DH and used to go to called Casablanca Cafe and it's on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. They have outdoor seating with a view of the ocean. The food there is great too. It's off of Alhambra Street.

Ohh thank you, those both sound great! I'm going to speak with DH, I would love dinner on the Ocean ::sigh:: I love the ocean.

We like Ocean's 234 in Deerfield Beach...it's a little pricey, but whenever we have family come in from out-of-town, we always take them there. There are also nice restaurants in downtown Ft. Lauderdale along the intracoastal. Happy Anniversary!
