Where do you/did you job hunt?

I check (for Casey) careerbuilder.com everyday.  I also go to azstatejobs.gov.

Other than that, there are a few specific companies I check weekly.

Radio is pretty specific, and has their own websites (allaccess.com) but how about checking monster.com for him?

I don't like monster or jobbing, I always get the same results from careerbuilder.

Craigslist and then company websites.  For instance, I work for the YMCA a lot (in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and NYC) so I check the local YMCA website for their job listings whenever I move to a new town to see if there's something that interests me.  And when I wanted to get a job at an animal shelter I just went from one shelter's website to the next looking at their listings.

Have you checked the local newspaper websites?? 

Mine's a lot diff than for him, but I go directly to the hospitals'/companies' website usually.

My office only lists through jobing.   So I don't know if other places are like that. 

I haven't used conventional ways of job hunting - I've just networked myself and contact people if/when I need to.  

If needed though, I wouldn't be against calling around to places I'm interested in to speak to HR.  You never know, and that also helps with getting your foot in the door.

Wow!  Jobing.com sucks!!!

First, it wouldn't let me upload the resume, I had to C & P and then screw around with formatting.  

Then, every job I try to send the resume to, I get an error message!  

WTF!!!

I just joined snagajob.com and have gotten a lot of leads from it. Just got a job today thanks to it.
