crossing fingers!
we put an offer on a house and spent the week dickering with some people that i perceive to be pretty unreasonable. regardless, they have signed the sellers agreement and our building inspection is tomorrow. we're crossing our fingers that it goes well! we're also crossing our fingers that the man that officially owns the home doesn't pass away before the closing..because that would holy mother complicate everything (everything in the world pauses while an estate is being opened, which takes a couple of months at least).
