Hey! So, I finally received my Nook cover in the mail and ventured out on the subway today with my Nook and have been enjoying reading so far. I just wanted to ask you, do you have the warranty on it? I opted not to get one. Just wanted to ask.

I'm not sure if I have the warranty, my mom got it for me for my birthday.  I hope I do, though - mine has acted up a few times already (freezes and I can't restart it until it's fully charged).  I foresee it breaking sometime in the future!

Hmmm, then maybe I should get the warranty then. They told me that I had two weeks to make up my mind. I will go get it this weekend because I don't want any drama. Maybe you should get it too...

Danielle, how bad is it acting up?  I was thinking of getting one for my bday but I get so nervous whenever I hear that anybody has problems with it.

I say get it! get it! It's wonderful. Just get the warranty for 1 year or two years...I am reading again and loving it - that alone makes it worth it.

It's not acting up that bad - just occasionally it will freeze, but I noticed it's mostly when the battery is almost dead.  One time I downloaded a book and then I couldn't open it, but I called the help hotline and they helped me in minutes.  I recommend it, even with its quirks.
