I need some ideas for appetizers
We're having a birthday party tomorrow night for DH and a friend (they have the same b-day) and we're just doing appetizers and drinks. Our friends are bringing a few things, I'm not sure what, and we're doing a few, plus my mom is bringing fruit kabobs and I think a cheese and cracker tray. I have 2 things that I'm making (cowboy caviar which is like a salsa/pico type thing, and buffalo chicken dip) but I can't think of anything else good!
What are your go-to appetizers or easy party foods?

Chips & guac, salsa, hummus
Salsa/Cream cheese dip
no bean chili and velveta... put in a crock pot and let it all melt together then serve with chips

or I always love a good veggies tray

If you are doing fruit, my favorite is a dip for strawberries (or any fruit really, but really good with strawberries)... 1/2 marshmalllow cream, 1/2 cream cheese (softened) and blended together....sooooo good and sooooo easy!
I was going to say the Buffalo Chicken Dip but you've already got that!
Sorry, I don't have anything else, that is my GO-TO appetizer. LOVE it!

Stuffed mushrooms have saved me a couple of times. I use a lobster cream cheese filling but if seafood is a no go, then a veggie cream cheese filling.
