I'm new to the boards...have been looking through them recently but still have a long way to go!
1. Originally from a small town in NW IN, Rensselaer. Currently reside in Lafayette.
2. Married for 3 months. Married on May 15, 2010
3. I am a registered nurse as well as an all-star cheerleading coach!

This is cool -- I didn't even know there were local boards until today. I'm kind of new to the Nest (and to being married!) and had only read some articles and general posts before.
1. Location - Carmel
2. Status - Married for almost 2 months
3. Occupation - I had to quit my job just before my wedding because they wouldn't give me time off for my wedding rehearsal or more than 4 days for my honeymoon, so I'm looking for work ... My husband is a database administrator.
4. Kids - furry only right now. We have 2 dogs: one 8 year old (Catahoula) and a new puppy (Catahoula/Lab mix).
5. Hobbies/interests - traveling, hiking, walking our dogs, and some Wii and Xbox games.

Most certainly late to this party, but I'll jump in anyways : )
Location- Winona Lake, IN for now... up near fort wayne. We'll be here about 8 more months- til hubby graduates undergrad at Grace College in May... Then on to medical school for him, hopefully indy area, since that's where we grew up- Brownsburg and Lebanon more specifically.

1. Location - We're moving to Southern IN October 9th.
2. Marrital Status, if married how long? - Married for 2 years on October 11th
3. Occupation - I do admin work from home
4. Kids--human or fury - Only fury for the moment. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat and I hope to foster cats once we get settled.
5. hobbies/interests - I love to knit. I scrapbook when I get motivation and I have a love/hate relationship with my sewing machine. As a family, we love to hike and do things outdoors.

Wow I am sooooooo late to this but this is the very first day I've been on the local boards! Please forgive me lol.

3. Occupation - Part time secretary for Circuit Court 5. I'd love to stay but my position is terminated due to budgetary issues as of 01/01/11 so I am actively pursuing other avenues LOL!
4. Kids - 1 Fabulous Furrbaby named Rascal. He's 2 years, 3 months, 1 week and 3 days old.
5. Hobbies/Interests - Church! I'm on the praise team and also the director of a child's sign language group that does signing to Christian music. I also love spending time with my husband, camping, singing, cooking, baking, and scrapbooking if I could EVER find the time :]

A tad late, but the hubby's at work, and I'm busy putting off writing thank you notes.

4. Not furry yet, but shelled - we have a turtle, Squirt, and it'll be his 9th birthday this Saturday.
5. Reading, writing, watching tv, sleeping, traveling, and spending as much time with hubby as possible since we didn't live together prior to marriage.

4. DH and I have two children. Maggie May (or Maggie Mayhem as we like to call her) and Halo. Both are black lab mixes who think they are lap dogs and are mommy's girls!

Hi! It's been a while since I've been on here but would like to be more often.
I thought I'd go ahead and post. Hopefully someday we can do an indiana get together with the couples. I think it would be a lot of fun!
