Suggestions for ways to show appreciation

Sooooo as you all know, we've been renovating.  For  seven months.  With the help of my family and C's dad.

Well, we're almost done.  Like it'll be done in within the next two weeks.  This would not have been possible without my family or his dad.

I want to do something to thank them all, but Idk what to do. Any suggestions?

ETA:  Money is an issue, so I can't just buy each person something off of their wish list.  lol

Lol, I typed this out and then deleted it in my OP:

Baked goods aren't an option b/c I do all the baking with my mom and sister.

I like this idea WITH baked goods.

When you guys more financially secure THEN buy them something small (like a gift basket or something) for their kind help and explain why you couldn't do it sooner! They will understand.

I think the dinner is a given, maybe:

put together some pics of everyone working together around the house, if none get your camera ready. Then you could put them a multi pic frame?

iou's are always cute: "Coupon for a Home Cooked meal of his choice", "Coupon for No Questions Asked Yes to a Favor", etc.

Get degree frame that also has a space for a pic. You can print up something like a "Great Dad Award" or "Graduate of the Super Dad University", get creative and cute. Then put a picture of you guys w/him next to it, super cute.

    Good Luck!

  • I really like your ideas Konnie.

I think we'll definitely do some IOU coupons, and the photo collage.  We have tons of pics of us working!

    Thanks girls!

If you did some baked good... like the coffe cake you did for baking day, then have those be like little place cards so they could take it all home with them :) with like a diy tag/card type thing with a pic of them working around the house that says "thank you for helping make tis house our home"
