Father of The Bride much?
So last night I talked to my dad on the phone and he shared the news that my step mom is pregnant! My dad is having a bit of a hard time with the news, he just turned 50 this year and his daughter just got married, he thought he was done lol. Apparently the wedding weekend was fun for everyone:)
I congratulated them of course, and am truly happy for them. I love babies! But this is going to be a bit strange if DH and I decide on TTC soon.
I'm not a stranger to having young siblings. My mom had my baby sister while I was a senior in HS. But this is definitely different.
Anyone have experience with anything like this?
Re: Father of The Bride much?
No experience here -
But, Whoa! That is crazy news!
This!! I can't imagine if my Mom or Dad told me right now they were having a baby! I'd be excited but a little freaked too....
I'm just glad I'm not a competitive person lol.
The more babies the better:)
This. Wowza.
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!

i would be happy for them but a little freaked out to. then i would start cracking jokes.
at the theater: 2 seniors, 1 child please
That is really crazy!!! No experience myself but my boss has a cousin who's the same age as his son which is kind of crazy.
And hey, at least if you do have a kid close in age to your brother/sister they'll have a playmate and your sibling can make them call them auntie or uncle. Haha!
She's in her early forties I think. It's not her first child so she should be alright.
