he is going to Flagg overnight to hike pikes peak... (I think thats what its called) I feel silly but I got all teary eyed when he was leaving... we haven't been away from each other over night since the night before our wedding! What is the longest you have been away from your hubby??

one night before my sister's wedding and one night aftre my niece was born then just the night before our wedding... i usually can't sleep when he is not next to me hahaha

No more than 7 nights in a row, but I've done that probably once a year since we've been together (mostly work travel). He's also been on a few guy's trips, but those were 3 nights or less. I think it's healthy for a relationship to have some time away from each other-- and the homecoming is always really good!! Wink

6 weeks a couple of years ago when he had to go to San Jose for a wind tunnel test. (Well, to be fair, I did go see him for a weekend, but that was after him being gone for 5 weeks at that point). And it really didn't help that it was summer vacation (I'm a teacher), and I was bored silly.

A few months ago I flew to CA for a funeral and stayed with my Dad and other family. Unfortunately DH had to work so he couldn't come.

My H has been gone since July 1, he gets back next Thursday. He is home for a week and then gone for 12 more days.

I am always with out MH for 7 days at a time. He goes to Dallas a lot for work.

The longest we've been apart since being married was just shy of 3 months. When he had to come here for work, before we could move out. I had to wait for Chad to get out of school in MA and then get our house packed and on a truck. He came at the beginning of May and I joined him the last week of July

I think about 6 nights is the longest we've been apart. I flew last-minute to Pittsburgh to be with one of my best friends for her baby being born (she had her hubby, but she REALLY wanted a female friend, and her mom/sis couldn't make it cuz they live in Japan). It was an awesome experience, but I missed the helll outa H! Other than that, we've only done weekends apart. I don't sleep well without him (Like you Jenn!). It's been a number of months since we've been apart even for a night, actually... We were sposed to for our Bach parties, but the parties ended up combining so we ended the night together (which was a VERY good thing Wink

Probably 4-5 nights was the longest. He went up to visit his parents and I couldn't get off work.

I think it's healthy to be apart - and like Erin said, the reunions are awesome!

I think 4-5 nights at the most. I've visited family when he couldn't get off of work and then another time he went to NY for his brother's graduation when I couldn't get off work.

We've been apart a couple times while we were dating but not at all since the wedding. And I may be taking a job for 3 weeks in California next month. We'll hate being away from each other but it's really good money and experience...rough choice. Sad

Right after we got married we were away from each other for a week at a time, but over a few months. He was working away & we only saw each other on the weekends. That was hard being a newlywed. I felt like I hadn't even just got married kinda.

Anyway, the longest has been 5 days. DH has band camp every year out of town, usually in Prescott. In fact, he just got back from it yesterday.
