Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I did not write this at the request of one person nor did I do it to start drama or problems. It was not intened to make anyone feel like they are not a part of the group.
There were several who felt that a lot of people had recently joined the board and wanted to be added to the Facebook group and don't post often, been around forever, been to a GTG, and/or did not know anyone on the board. Back when the page was started quite a few people felt that the page should be as private as possible for security and privacy from other Facebook friends being able to see our discussions. This was another step in that direction that apparently isn't cool with everyone
As for OOT Nesties who have been on the board or those that have been around since Knottie days of long ago this was not written to you either. We also understand that life is busy and not everyone can go to a GTG that why it was stated that there are other ways to get added to the page.
For the person who said they sent a request to the page - It is my understanding that there is another WCF Nestie page that wasn't used much. It is also not a private page and anyone can find it just the way you found it. Your request did not go to the FB group being discussed.
At this point I will add anyone who wants to be added. You will need to send a PM to me, Nicole, Vanessa or Danielle with your email address. We will then send you the invite to the group.

Hi! I just discovered this thread in attempt to find a group of Westchase mommies who have some kind of organized meet ups? I moved here a few years ago from Orlando, and am just now taking my one foot out of Orlando and finalizing my residence here in Tampa. I am 26, with an almost 6-month daughter. I am on Facebook already and would love to "GTG" with you guys! I totally feel like I'm back in grade school asking if you'd like to be my friend...it's kinda weird, but at this point, I'd do almost anything to gain my sanity back after staying home alone with my daughter all this time
. I'm somewhat new to this particular online community, so let me know what I need to do to sit with the cool kids.

I might be wrong, but I think the Facebook group might have sizzled out. You could just hang out with us here, though.
We're a good mix of moms, not-yet-moms, not-ready-to-be moms, and don't-want-to-be moms on this board. I've met several in person and so far only one was a total whackadoo. (Totally kidding!)
Anyway, there are GTGs and mommy GTGs, too. We haven't had a mommy GTG in a long time. We're overdue for that. Hmmm...But I've found that this board has been a good way to meet some friends in a new city.
