"Vacation"
I am off from work Aug 7-15. DH took off Aug 9-11 so that we could go away from the 7-11 as a little vacation [we never go anywhere]. That was going to leave me the 12-13 to lounge around the house while he was at work and then we'd have the 14-15 to hang out together.
I just found out that DH took off the 12-13, too, because his DAD is coming up.
UGH.
Way to throw a wrench in my plans. Not that they'll be around much. FIL is coming up so that they can replace the gutters on the house or something. I know I don't really need to entertain FIL, but I'm going to feel obligated to make obscene amounts of tea, sandwiches, and have 911 on speed dial. [jk about the last part, FIL does gutters for a living, so I'm hoping no one falls off of the roof]
I'm planning on painting our bedroom and building a couple of radiator boxes while on vacation. Ooooh.... FIL has a nail gun... this may be the best time to make my radiator boxes.
Hoping FIL comes up ALONE. I love my 4 year old nephew, but I'm not a babysitter. Also, leave the BILs at home, too!

I'm thing this summer with company is Asian Coleslaw (cole slaw mix, broccoli slaw, 1 package of chicken ramen, and some rice vinegar, garlic, and soy sauce... WW friendly!).
Have a great time with the home "work". Let us know how the vacy goes!
