How was your weekend?

Mine was pretty good.

Spent Saturday with my sis and the kid's in the pool and then babysat so her and her hubby could go out to dinner with friends. Then yesterday, had my sis and kids over my mom's for swimming and dinner...the swimming was short lived due to the rain. =/ Also, had no real luck with the apartment search. Went to look at one I really liked, but the guy was planning on offering to the people that looked at it the day before, so why he actually even bother showing me the place is beyond me...a waste of time. So, the search continues...

I had a fabulous time at my friend's wedding.  College friends were there. It was way too hot for an outdoor wedding, but I had fun after getting into the shade.

Ugh, my weekend was busy and not long enough.

I had rehearsal Fri night and then went out with 2 lady friends. That was fun!

Saturday, i had rehearsal from 11:30-1pm, then grabbed a bagel with the same ladies i went out with the night before (i'm acting in a scene with one and the other is directing it!), killed some time at Barnes and Noble and then back to a different rehearsal from 4-5pm. DH ended up being offered our friend's sick wife's ticket to the Rush concert at Jones Beach that night, so i treated myself to a mani/pedi and sushi dinner!

Sunday i worked 2 open houses and then had the worst time trying to get to the Lower East Side to meet up with DH and friends. I got to the Financial District and then basically had no train options to get me where i wanted to go! So i turned around and went home cuz i was also feeling headachey. Grr...

I feel like i barely saw DH this weekend!!

My weekend was good, but busy.

Saturday we signed our contract to get our PVC fence (damn those things are expensive!) then we came into the city with a bunch of friends to do Accomplice: West Village and had a blast (see my other post for Accomplice info)

Sunday we did some stuff around the house, went to lunch with my mom and stepdad, ran to PetSmart (Lily was very good in the store), went to the ILs (where Lily was not so good) for dinner and cake, went home to give Lily a bath and do more stuff around the house.

My weekend was super packed. Saturday, I was up at 4am with Sasha and of course we had a party to host that afternoon. We went to see her pediatrician too, so that was fun. After we got back and she napped on me, we finished preparing for the party (and all things considered, we managed to pull it off quite well). Sunday, we went to my parents' house for my mom's birthday.

it was pretty good--we had DH's grandfather's birthday party in lindenhurst on saturday.  i know that sounds like it'd be a snore, but it was complete with karaoke (a la my father in law, who is obsessed with it), and grandpa and grandma had TWELVE kids, so things get lively pretty quick at that house!

It was our first anniversary, and we spent it at the wedding of some friends...I actually officiated the wedding so that was pretty intense!  Sunday we went to the beach and just relaxed until the thunderstorms rolled in.
