Hot Wifey Monday

How'd you do last week?  Productive?  Unproductive?

I was in the middle

Monday:  4 mile bike ride (with puppy attached)

Tuesday:  30 DS

Wednesday:  2 1/2 hours of volleyball

Thursday:  date night

Friday:  1/2 mile walk

Saturday:  1.5 mile walk

Sunday:  Cleaning and yardwork for about 7 hours

  • Rands - back on TK it was OPERATION: WEDDING meaning getting in shape for the wedding. Then some of us (points fingers to self) really fell off the working out wagon so this is our motivation to keep it up!

     I was good Monday - Wednesday. Then I had a biopsy done on my foot Friday and I am limping everywhere and can't where sneakers sooooooo I am a bum for the indefinite future. I'm hoping to be better by Wednesday but I kinda doubt it. Blah!

  • Thanks! I'm thinking I could use some toning up too...I bought these 5 lb hand weights and a mat before the wedding, and never used them...no time like the present :-)

  • I haven't done any working out yet, but decided to start a whole body cleanse- I'm taking a morning and evening supplement with herbs and crap to detox the organs, and fiber supplements with probiotics etc. to help take the toxins out. Also have modified my diet so I'm eating much healthier- we had tuna steaks (Trader Joes has them for $4.69/lb!!) over a salad of romaine, baby spinach, cucumbers and avacado with a cilantro/jalapeno/ garlic/ ginger/ tamari/ lime dressing. It was pretty tasty but the dressing was a little harsh and now I have horrible "zoo breath" as my mom used to say. Oh and no alcohol since Friday -only had one glass of fru fru wine while at a friend's. That will be the hardest part to stay good on.

    But! I did weigh myself this morning and I was at a lighter weight than I have been in ages! But my thighs and rear still need some help so I may have to do some late evening walking to help that.

  • The DH had a talk with me about working out, and now we're going to try to do little things to get more fit.  I get frustrated easily, seeing I worked out really hard before the wedding 6 months straight and got nooowhere.

    So I for myself, am going to start doing the Couch to 5K training program, along with the 200 situp and squat, 100 pushup programs, and the 25 pullup whenever they get around putting that program up.  I really miss feeling strong, and my body has done everything in its power to stop me.  But I will not let it anymore!

  • I started working out last week and I actually did really good. I decided to start going before work and it works a lot better for me.

    Mon- ran for 30 mins and did 30 mins of weights, abs etc.

    Tues - ran for 40 mins and did 30 mins of arm and abs

    Wed - ran for 45 mins and did 20 mins of abs and legs

    Thurs - ran for 40 mins and did 15 mins of abs

    Fri - Ran for 30 mins and did 10 mins of abs ( I was really tired by the end of the week lol)

     

    So far I am doing good this week but my alarm on my phone was on silent yesterday and I didn't wake up until it was time to go to work :( Looks like I will be working out Saturday.
