Doc sent me for blood work before they'd make my first appt, so I went on Wednesday (9DPO). I told them I was really early, but they wanted me to go anyway. I called yesterday afternoon to find out if the results were back and the nurse was like, "Umm, it was inconclusive." What? What does that mean? "It means it's not positive or negative." She told me my level was an 8, so it probably meant it was either really early (which she didn't sound too convinced of) or it was a chemical pregnancy and I'd get my period soon. She's going on and on and on about the different kinds of micarriages, I'm starting to freak, and she tells me to go in and get more blood done first thing this morning.?
Thankfully the tech was nice enough to tell me when I called for the results that my level was at 48. PHEW! So, my levels sextupled in less than 48 hours. Multiples?!?! That would be crazy!
Re: Had a bit of a scare
When it's that early those doubling times don't mean that much. Basically it's not even on the chart because you were so early.
What will matter more is when they look at the doubling times from when AF is due... which is when you should test typically.
It IS still very early, so just hang in there and try and relax until you get more confirmation that the pregnancy is viable and healthy!!
Multiples are extremely rare unless you did IVF, Injectibles, etc. Then of course, if identical twins run in your immediate family, then there is a greater chance.
I hope things continue to go well for you!
That is scary! Atleast the new bloodwork was better....
Thinking about you guys! :-) Kisses to Maddie!
I am feeling much better now... Scott on the other hand has seen the ER two time this week. All migraine related... but still no fun at all!
We really need to meet up sometime! Are you at the school everyday? What is your schedule looking like these days?
Yeah I'm working 5 days a week at the school but I'm around on the weekends! Next Saturday's not good but otherwise let me know when you're free!
?Thanks for the reassurance Kristin ?
