My friend and I found this PERFECT place for us. We went and saw it twice just to make sure we really loved it. The price is perfect. The size is great. Has a washer/dryer. Pretty much everything we've been looking for this place has. The worst thing is the location but I can deal with living in Rossford. So the guy who owns the house has proven to be rather flaky. He didn't have any applications with him when we looked at it and said he'd mail them to us immediately ... well it's been like 3 weeks and he still hasn't mailed them. We've contacted him twice and he said his Mom was in the hospital so he got caught up but he felt really bad for not getting them out yet and he'd do it asap and he knows it'd be the perfect place for those two cute little girls to live (my kids, lol). Well ... that was last week that he said that. I totally understand having a family emergency, but ....
Should we call again? Be a little more firm that we really like it and want to live there? Give up and start looking other places? I'm not sure.
I don't think he's got anyone else interested in it. But don't you think he'd want to get it rented quicker and start making money on it already??
Re: WWYD: housing
Rossford isn't too far from me.

I would give him another chance. Maybe the reason he doesn't contact you is because he really doesn't want kids there and legally he can't discriminate against you so he is thinking if I ignore her I'm okay. Nobody wants a vacant house just sitting there.
This was my thought... unfortunately we were booted from a place one time because they said Sammy (he was 4 months old!) was too loud! AYFKM?
Will he be flaky when you have a maintenance/repair need at the house too? That's what I would be wondering...
However, if the house is great and the price is in your range, it would be a hard deal to pass up.
