Metrolink Train Crash in Chatsworth
I don't know if anyone here uses the Metrolink through the SFV or knows anyone who does but I thought I'd pass this on:

They've already confirmed 3 fatalities. I'm praying for those people, I just don't understand how this happens.
Yeah my DH got a text from one of his work buddy's to watch the news. ?He would be on the scene if he were working today.
We are trying to figure out if FIL is on that train or if he took the bus! ?HE works in chatsworth and doesn't have a cell phone.
Pray for us that he isn't on that train!?
SO relieved finally found out it was a nw bound train, we were trying to find that out. ?My heart goes out to all the families.

DH used to take the Metrolink. He was on neither the train today nor the one in January 2005. Today's news reports brought back lots of unsettling feelings from 2005. Thank God we're ok, but both incidences touched me. DH could have been on the 2005 train. Luckily he called me when he heard about it and told me that he missed the train that day. OMG!
Thoughts and prayers go out to all the families and friends touched by these accidents.
Is there a non-family # to call or a list of people?
We are still trying to find out if Matt's former boss was on this train. He just talked to him Wednesday and said that he was taking the metro-link to and from work (he lived in Simi Valley). Matt gets off work at 3:30 and said that he was on his way home, so there is a possibility that he would have been on the train at that time. Matt has called and left amessage, but has not heard back from him. Kind of crazy.....Hopefully he is OK.
