Microwave Cake in a Cup REVIEW & PIP

image

Very easy to make, even Jocelyn can do it!  LOL!

Quick prep and bake time (3 minutes in microwave)

Smelled great!  Yum - mini chocolate chips!

Review:  Best when still warm.  Dense.  Moist.  Spongy.  When cold - rubbery, chewy, reminded me of foam.

IMHO:  I won't make it again, but it was fun to make with Jocelyn.  We counted up to 4 tablespoons of several of the ingredients.  And we ate some mini chocolate chips together.  Smile

Re: Microwave Cake in a Cup REVIEW & PIP

  • what a sweet bonding experience!
  • so like microwaved scrambled eggs?? lmao.
  • Just curious . . . why won't you make it again?
  • Awe, the best part is the fun you guys had! Too sweet! I love how you dressed it up with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. That's my kind of dessert making. Thanks for the review.

  • CalBears, I don't think I'll make it again because I didn't care for the dense, chewy texture.  I prefer lighter, fluffier cake.  While it was extremely easy to make, if I were really fixin' for something sweet or chocolatey to eat, I'd pick something else.

May, funny you mention the "dressing".  Nat went straight for the whip cream (and only that) while Jos favored the chocolate chips and sauce.  I guess you stick to what you like.  LOL!
