Cooking classes in Greensboro

So my DH and I want to do something different for our anniversary this year.  We thought it would be fun to take a cooking class and then eat what we make.  We only want to do it one time (not a series of classes) but have no idea what we would look for.  I know Let's Dish does this but we have no idea if there's any other places in the city that does this too.  Plus they teach you how to make larger meals (the serving size being 4-6+ and not just 2) and we don't know if they do private lessons.  Does anyone know of any other places we can check out or what exactly we would Google in order to find out?  Or do you know of any restaurants that offer private cooking lessons?  "Cooking classes," and "Cooking" brings up a list of restaurants, culinary schools and/or one time classes that include lots of people, which isn't what we are looking for.  TIA.

Re: Cooking classes in Greensboro

  • I believe Green Valley Grill and Print Works Bistro sometimes offer cooking classes, however I assume that would be a group class. I have never taken one, but the food at both restaurants is excellent. I suppose you could call ask them how much a private lesson would cost/if they would even do that.

Have you tried searching for private cooking lessons. Since you are looking for something private I would not really consider it a class, which may be why you are not getting the results you want.

     Good luck finding something.

  • If you go to livingsocial.com today's deal is for a cooking class at Revolution Restaurant.  It's in Durham, but it might be fun to stay over night or even drive back because it's only about an hour and 15 minutes from Greensboro.
