getting ready for a busy weekend
Two weddings and my birthday.
My sister decided last week that her and her boyfriend will be getting married this Friday. It's not a really a surprise, because they've been together for the last 7 years and have been talking about getting married for a while now. His guard unit is scheduled to go to Kosovo soon, so that's the reason for the rush. They have an appointment with a judge this Friday. It's going to be small, just the respective parents, his brother and SIL and me and HH. I've organized a dinner afterwards but they don't really want to make a big deal out of it.
Also our cousin is getting married on Saturday. Saturday also happens to be my 30th birthday. I'm thankful that I have something else to focus on besides the big Three-Oh. I tend to obsess... and HH is out of town until Friday morning.
So, anyone else have an exciting weekend planned?

I think it's nice that you're going to make a little fuss for them.
Friday is my company picnic, so I get the afternoon off and we'll get a free dinner out of it (it's at the local amusement park, and Matt and I already have season passes). Matt and I are both working all day Saturday. We have no plans for Sunday except for church, and we're trying really hard to keep it that way! We've been looking forward to August 1st for WEEKS because it's been so long since we've had a day together without any outside obligations.

oh this weekend..... with any luck I'll be cleaning our new house (if we get it... ugh)... and I bartend a wedding Saturday but I think that's it.
HH has to work Saturday so I'm planning on sleeping in. Our church's Bible School starts next week and I'm doing the teen girls class so I have to make a pillow Saturday morning so I can show them how to do it next week. Then that afternoon I'm going up to the church to help decorate. We'll probably go shoe shopping sometime because we both need new shoes.
