Moms-Nickolodeon storytime live is coming $$$$

And tix are (at the cheapest upper balcony seating) $20 apiece and the good seats are $40 apiece.  I saw it on my FB advertising section and thought to myself, gosh, Bentley would LOVE that!  I just can't fathom paying $120 for me, B, and H to go when he won't even remember it.  Suck.

Maybe I'll feel like stuff like this is worth it next year or the year after? (By the way it's Dora, Wonder Pets, Ni Hao Kai Lan, Backyardigans, etc.)

  • I know M would like it but she's still really small and I don't think she would pay too much attention. Although she does love some Wonder Pets.

I saw Yo Gabba Gabba was going to be in Tulsa in Nov. M has just discovered this show but it seriously is the weirdest show of all time.

  • That does sound like fun! It tickets were just a bit more reasonable. We did Elmo Live this spring, and even though DS loved it I think he was a bit young for the price of tickets (I admit it was really cute and fun). Think for the 3 of us it was about $80 or so.

Did you know that Thomas the Train is coming in September--"Day Out with Thomas"? That looks really neat, and thinking of taking DS being he loves trains. Tickets aren't too bad, either. About $20 (think it's $16 to be exact). Includes a train ride on Thomas, too. Oklahoma Railway Museum has the tickets for purchase, if interested!Smile

  • Fortunately DS doesn't watch any of those shows, because there's no way I'd shell out that much $ for something he would probably lose interest in 20 minutes in.  I am also too cheap to shell out the $ for Thomas even though he does like Thomas because in the end I don't think he would get any more excitement out of it than riding the train at the zoo.
  • Yeah, that's a lot of $$ for a 2 year old.

If it was Elmo, I might do it. Cooper looooooves Elmo. But we don't have Nickelodeon so he wouldn't even know who those characters are. Huh?

  • I would take him to see Imagination Movers b/c sadly I think some of their songs are pretty good. Conner also lova the Melmo and Handy Manny.
