I need suggestions people.
I need Casey out of the house a good 6-12 hours the day of his party, so I can cook and decorate. The longer the better. I've recruited a few of his friends and his brothers to accompany him, but I need to suggest some plans for them. Any ideas?
My first thought was tubing, but he hates that. I don't want to send him out hiking or anything b/c then he'll be exhausted for the party. Now I'm thinking a day trip to somewhere relatively close (1-2 hours away).
Any suggestions for a day trip destination or any other kind of activity in the valley that can occupy that length of time?

He might be tired after doing that though, too. Hmmmmm....
He only hates tubing b/c its boring and filthy.
I thought about a water park too. Wet & Wild would be perfect, b/c Glendale is a good hour from us. But it might tire him out. Idk, it'll probably come down to that, which is fine. Once he gets to the party I'm sure the excitement will kick in and he'll be fine.

what about paintballing??? theres a place in phx i think 43rd and camelback, so thats a good hour away too and paintballing takes alot of time...or gameworks at az mills - omg alex can spend hrs there!!!
Since you mentioned him going camping recently...can his friends suggest an over night "guys trip?"
Im assuming the party is on a Saturday? Can they go Fri night to Sat afternoon...or whenever you need them back? That way you can get a lot done Friday night and Sat Morning?
Yeah...my DH is not a golfer either, I just know its a loooong boring sport!

LOL It's actually not boring at all when you do play. I used to hate watching it but since I've starting playing, I like watching it now too. It's a great sport.
I also thought about that, but he REALLY hated that camping trip. When he got home from the last trip, one of the first things he said to me was, "Never again!" lol

Yes and I had a blast. I cannot wait for it to come back. haha Feb, right? We are planning on spending ALL day there this year. We had something to do last year so we were only there for a couple of hours.
yep, Feb! I LOVE it! The 16th hole is so crazy! Doesn't even feel like golf..more like hockey! haha It gets so loud!

Yes, the 16th hole is awesome!!! Gosh, I'm so excited now. haha It's still a long ways away but I really cannot wait!! We'll have to meet up if you guys go too.

hahaha It's fun when you get into it. I'm still not very good and wouldn't be a good teacher but we should go out sometime after Mr. Ryan comes. It'd be fun and funny! hehe
