We just got a new puppy and was wondering what is the best way to dispose of her poop. I know they have biodegradable bags to use for walks instead of the plasic store bags but what about your yard?
I like to pick up her poop as soon as possible because we like to run around the yard with her and I don't want to step in anything.
Thanks
Re: Pet waste
I 2nd the Doggie Dooley. I have one I am not using wish you were closer. Check Dr. Fosters and Smith.
The best thing you can do is flush the dog "doo" in the toliet if you are serviced by a water utility company (not a septic tank) since they have to treat the water before it returns to local waterways, dog doo is every toxic to the environment and it can take up to a year to full degrade whether it ends up in an landfill or somewhere buried in your yard.
Although you might be thinking that this waste a lot of water but really it will take up a lot funding to clean it out of the waterways.
If moving your dog "doo" to the toliet is too much of a hassle please at least dispose it into a trash can.
