Question #2 (since the origianl post is now all about golf, lol)

Is it too soon for the friend (I've recruited to take Casey captive) to invite him to Wet & Wild?

Its ten days out.  Would he get suspicious?

I think if the friend specifically says, "I'd like to take you out for your bday, yadda yadda yadda," he wouldn't be suspicious.

  • LOL  You're so funny.

I think if he brought it up to him that he wanted to go and asked Casey if he would want to do something like that. Then his friend could be like, well, do you want to go next Saturday since I'm busy this weekend??

  • I'm probably no help...I could over think this sort of thing all day long. Does the friend usually take him out somewhere to do something for his bday? If so, then I think a "hey, let's do something fun for your bday" would totally work. If not, then I'd have him be more nonchalant about it and say what Stacy suggested. But if it's not specifically a "birthday outing," I might have him wait until Tuesday of next week to invite him. He could complain about the heat, and suggest the water park as a way to cool off?
  • And you're sure he would definately want to go to a water park?  DH wouldn't be caught dead at a place like that unless he's taking his own kids.  What about going to Sedona for a Hummer tour?  It would be a little more money, but would definately take up more time- between the drive time up there, taking the tour, getting lunch, driving back- that's at least 6-8 hours.
