Super scary experience
Tonight I was driving to have dinner with a friend. On the way there I was at a red light behind a car. The light turned green- car didn't move, I gave her about 15 seconds (it wasn't busy) to go and she didn't so I lightly beeped.
Still didn't move, I beep again after a few seconds. Still no movement. At this point I figure this lady is having car trouble so I wait for the person behind me to go around me and I start to back up. Then the lady decides to go.
So I'm driving down
the road, at this point I want to pass her, she is going slow. I put my
blinker on, move into the right lane and as I do she swerves into the
lane and slams on her brakes! I have to swerve to miss her (narrowly at
that) and I have DD in the back seat. I look back and now she starts
driving again. She pulls in behind someone that is behind me.
We pass through another light and now she speeds up and is tailgating me. Then we stop at the next light, I look in my rear view mirror and she is flipping me off and cussing at me! Really upset not just flipped me the bird once she is going off. At this point I'm literally praying for safety (especially DD's) because I really thought she was going to rear end me.
I decide to not pull into the parking lot where I'm going, but off on to a side street figuring I would lose her. No she FOLLOWS me. I pull into the first drive way. She stops behind me.
I get out of my car, she rolls down her window and says Listen B if you don't stop Fing tailgating me I'm going to kick your Fing A**!
I said Ma'am (She's in her 50's I would guess) I'm sorry, I was not tailgating you. I was behind you at a light and you didn't move which was why I beeped.
She says the above statement again to me, again I said "Ma'am, I'm sorry, I was not trying to tailgate you, I have my daughter in the car."
She says it AGAIN.
So I just say "Ma'am I'm sorry"
She says it again and then finally drives off (the whole time she was there she was pointing at me and flipping me off).
I was literally shaking, so scary and she drove off before I could get her plate number.
Yikes.

what a psychopath!!! there are so many freaks out there. if i were you i wouldn't have pulled over. instead, i would have called 911 and tell them that someone is following you and you can't lose them.
i mean, what if she had a weapon or something. it's so scary! i'm sorry that you had to go through that, especially with the baby in the car. i'm sure it was really scary.
I would have gotten her license plate number and reported her as a driver under the influence.
or
I would have smacked the sh!t outta her...

Haven't read the other responses yet, but...
WHY DID YOU GET OUT OF THE CAR? She could have killed you! I'm sorry if I'm just being paranoid, but I would have kept driving, and if she never gave up I would have called the cops. I heard a stat that lik 1 in 4 people carries a gun in their car! Would you have pulled over and gotten out if it was an angry man? I know I wouldn't have!
