Bachelorette Party Ideas..

Hello Ladies,

I'm planning my friends bachelorette party for next month and I'm in need of some suggestions. It's going to be about 12 girls and I we wanted to stay in a hotel and spend the day at the pool or spa and find somewhere nearby to dance at night ( we don't want to drive).. Any Suggestions?  We were thinking about the Hard Rock but the rooms are small and pricey. TIA!

Re: Bachelorette Party Ideas..

  • Honestly, the best bach party I have attended was hosted by The Art of Exotic Dancing.  An exotic dance instructor (she's not a real dancer, just does it for fun), came and gave us all a lesson (no nudity - just wear "puta" heals and bring a men's shirt to wear above your outfit to use to "strip").  It was in a hotel room, and we all took turns strutting our stuff from one side of the room to the other... and where we started each time we had a bar set up (you know, some liquid courage).  At first I was embarrassed, especially since a few of Dh's cousins were there too, but at the end, we all had a blast!

Coincidently, this was done at the Hard Rock, so it started early like at 8:30-9pm, and after the class (about 2 hrs), we went off to dance.

Other than that, there is always So. Beach.

  • I hear you on the pricey Hard Rock hotel rooms, I was considering that for mine as well but decided not to go along with it. I instead stayed at a nice hotel nearby (on Griffin Rd by the airport) I'm pretty sure it was the Sheraton.

I think So Beach is the way to go, because you can just walk it back to your room or pay a small cab fare since you're closeby. Cab rides are fun =) and plus you can all split it.

I'd suggest the downtown Ft. Lauderdale area, but it's not as fun. Not nearly. HTH, good luck
