I think I have mentioned the details of this before, but will do it again. DH had cancer and the toe/bone and whole right portion of his right foot was removed bc of that. DH has foot problems very often- but it's his left foot he has the problems with not the right that had the cancer.
He will go days where he cant walk on it, and its swollen and painful. He gets very frustrated b/c he has been to a foot Dr. to figure out whats wrong with it, and nothing - the dr. couldnt figure it out.
Then, he went to the surgeon who did his surgery on the other foot, and they have dont MRI/X-rays and can never find anything "wrong" with it, just swelling.
He is beyond frustrated, and wish the pain would stop. I feel so bad for him, and dont know if there's anything else that can be done. Im just venting here...
Re: I need to vent.
I am sure that is painful. Has he thought about going to a different doctor? Sometimes getting fresh eyes and minds helps.
Sorry he is having so much trouble.
Oh gosh I can only imagine how painful that is.
I agree I think he should go to another dr. Obviously there is something wrong and he needs to be checked out!

Oh that's insane, shame on those doctors!
ugh there is nothing worse than foot problems! I had so many problems with my left foot after my surgery and I saw 2 docs that said it was fine. When it went to the third doc, he finally saw that the bottom of my bone was all jagged from the 1st doc messing up my surgery! So I had to have surgery again. It is pretty good now, most days I am fine but every once in a while it bothers me still.
I agree on seeing another doc once he has insurance. That is just nuts.

No he hasnt, but thats a great idea I have never thought about that! Thanks, I will let him know and we will keep that in mind when the time comes to see someone.
This is what I was thinking. My gpaw had an old baseball injury in one knee and ended up needing his other knee and hip replaced b/c of all the weight and presure he put on that leg due to his other knee being hurt.
