Watermelon & Squash...what did I do wrong?
I planted watermelon and butternut squash this year in my first garden. I have multiple LONG vines for both and beautiful flowers that come and go on the squash. But no watermelon and no squash! Did I do something wrong, or will they still come?

idk....we've had a TON of bumble bees in the garden (particularly near the squash) so I assumed they were okay.....
Interesting... wish I had an answer for you, but if it makes you feel any better...
I just chopped my wild and crazy watermelon vines out-I had nothing but vines...
My squash, cukes, cherry tom, and green peppers are doing fabulously fine, so not sure what that's all about... (my corn must have a 'miniature' gene as it looks so little-about 3' high stalks next to my neighbor's 9' ones)
Never thought about pollination. huh...
