I've waited a long time for this day! My dad came over and helped me with the stand and setting up the TV. It's so much bigger IRL than the picture shows. It's almost obnoxious! We have it in a possibly temporary place right across from the main sofa, but I already miss our fireplace that was moved to the DR. 

Anyway... I'm kind of love. I can't wait for DH to watch a sports game on it to fall in love with it too!

I was really suprised how much I really liked ours too because I was the one telling DH we didnt need it and we should just wait but HD makes a big difference.

Looks great. I love love love our flat screen. I was the one that wanted it for football season and it's probably the most used thing in out house now!

Love it!  I still can't get over what good paint colors you have in your house.

I used to think the TVs were way too big and obnoxious, and now I can't imagine not having it

Thanks, Steph. I wish I could take credit for the paint. We're only going to paint the guest room and bathroom this year. The rest can wait indefinitely.  

I think once we move the tv to the corner where the existing one is, it will be slightly less in your face.

Congrats mamie! We love ours too and like pp's I at first thought it was silly to have something that large, but it so so worth it and so fun to watch sports on it : )
