What are your weekend plans?
Re: What are your weekend plans?
Tonight I'm treating myself to take-out for making it through a week with JB! :-p
Tomorrow I hope to run a few errands in the morning and then I'll be watching my co-workers son. His son is 1yr old. So I'll be home all day with a 12 month old and a 3.5 month old. Should be interesting.
Sunday, I think because of Saturday I'll probably sleep - lol!
Tonight - We are going to dinner (I have a bunch of birthday coupons to use in the next couple of weeks!)
Tomorrow - I am doing something with the kids. I am not sure what...perhaps bowling..perhaps swimming...something to tire them out, while L does school work. In the afternoon, we have a sitter coming over and we are going to see The Kids are Alright and either going to lunch before or dinner after. Woo hoo!
Sunday - Errands, going to the park to see the planes fly over (they come really close!), picking a friend up at the airport, meeting more friends for a late lunch and hanging out, home to get ready to start our week.
Good luck Two! at least it'll be good insight into adding more to your crew
Today: half day at work, then meeting up w/ andrea for a date. We're going to see The Kids are Alright. In the evening we have a water carnival at Sprout's school.
Saturday/Sunday: road trip to visit family in boston. i'm excited for a fun weekend with loved ones, but i'm a little nervous about how well the kids will sleep in a new house w/ lots of commotion.
Blogs: Our Growing Family - CT Working Moms

Life is finally getting back to normal at our house after the big storm. We finally have our power back, my totaled car has been towed away, all our claims are in and the remnants of the big, scary tree in our back yard is coming down as I type this. I am SO ready to be back to my normal, boring life.
Tonight: Aside from one gallon of milk that I picked up last night, there is NOTHING in our fridge, freezer or deep freezer....not even condiments! It's crazy. While DW cleans the house, I plan restock at the grocery store.
Tomorrow: An adjuster is coming to evaluate that damage to our home and talk coverage, Verizon is coming to reinstall the fios wires (oh tv, have I have missed you!), an electrician is coming to do some work that I haven't really bothered to try to understand, and I am going to do laundry.
Sunday: Car shopping! Despite the idea of a car payment, I'm actually excited to car shop! We're looking at the Honda CRV and the Mazda5, which is a comapct minivan.
Tonight we are backyard camping with DD.
Tomorrow and Sunday are up in the air.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
we found out that a friend of ours was badly burned at work earlier this week. we'll be going to visit her in the hospital either tonight or tomorrow (we're waiting to hear when would be better for her before we decide for sure).
saturday we're going to a cookout/birthday thing in the afternoon.
sunday i have no idea. i hope nothing. i'm really worried about our friend and just feeling helpless, and stressed and overwhelmed in general.
To be honest, I am not sure at all. We have had a really tough week so I didn't plan anything. I think a friend and her daughter are coming over later to cheer me up so that will be nice. They may stay and bbq for dinner but other than that we are wide open.
Blue-I hope your friend is okay, sending healing thoughts.
Blue, I am so sorry to hear that...I am sending out positive vibes you and your friends way!
True...what can I say, you did it! ENJOY dinner, you deserve it!
I am not too sure what we are doing...I do know what I am not doing. I just got back from Baltimore, I dropped my niece off (who visited for the night) at an Anime convention. It was CRAZY at the Convention Center. I could not believe how many people were dressed up in costumes...all types of people.
I remember watching Sailor Moon, and Tenshi with my oldest, but that was about it...there is/was so much more that I did not know about.
I was taking pictures with my phone to the embarassment of my niece. She told me that she would take pictures for me and send them, but to PLEASE stop taking them now.
It is so funny, the only conventions I have ever gone to were lesbian health fair conventions or Church conventions. I never let the world know that I was secretly a Rocky Horror Picture Show fan (except at the midnight showings where I danced in the aisles and screamed out every line...
.)
