Best Photo Printer?

I want to print a lot of pictures and if possible, multiple sizes.  I wanted to know what was a good model/brand and if it really saves money over printing through a professional lab. Thank you.

I haven't done research in a while but the last time I checked, about a year ago, it ended up being a lot cheaper to just goto a lab and print them than to buy the photo printer, expensive ink and paper.

With a photo printer, you are paying an increased cost for the convenience of doing it at home.

I would highly recommend Costco if you want to do lab printing. I have a pretty good photo printer that I love (HP Photosmart C4680) but the paper and the ink are ridiculously expensive, so I'd much rather upload a photo to the Costco website and print it out that way. They're usually ready next day (sometimes same day) and they do really good quality work.

Thanks. I did not realize that it was much more expensive to do at home so I am very glad I asked. We have a Cosco membership and will probably do that. Thanks everyone!

If you really want to print at home, Canons print good quality pictures.
