Question about coupons & sales at Fred Meyer

Hey Ladies,

I'm a relatively new transplant to the Portland area.  For awhile when I lived in South Florida, I was really getting into couponing & combining the coupons with store sales.  I used sites like The Grocery Game and Coupon Mom.  (They do all the work for you by telling you what items are on sale and where to find the coupon to combine it with the sale price.)  I'm interested in getting back into it, but so far, I haven't been able to find a similar internet site that does the same job for Portland.  Grocery Game only covers Albertsons stores here, and Coupon Mom doesn't even cover the state of Oregon at all.  Do any of you know of a site that I could utilize that covers Fred Meyer here?

 Thanks in advance!

Jenn

Re: Question about coupons & sales at Fred Meyer

  • Welcome to Portland!  We don't really have a site just for Portland, that I've found at least.  Here's a site that links to several coupon resources.  http://fantabulouslyfrugal.com/coupons/

This site http://www.livefabuless.com/ also has coupon matchups for many stores.

The Grocery Game in Portland covers Safeway, Albertsons, Walgreens and Rite Aid.  They don't do Fred Meyer, but FM prints ads on Tuesdays and Sundays in the Oregonian.  Their sales aren't the best, but you could probably save a little more by coupon stacking.  They don't double coupons, though.

I find the best deals using coupons at Albertsons.  They offer 4 double coupons per ad, and have great sales.  They are pretty stringent on expired coupons, though.

Feel free to PM me if you have anymore couponing q's.  I also have a couple posts in my blog (link in sig) about couponing here.  Good luck!

  • This site http://thekrazycouponlady.com/category/fred-meyer covers Fred Meyer match-ups.  I *just* started doing some grocery shopping at Fred Meyer, so I'm haven't used this site for very long.

I use http://dealseekingmom.com/ for summaries of new internet coupons (ex. coupons.com, redplum.com, lists of coupons in the upcoming Sunday paper, and for Target match-ups.

    Hope this helps!
