I know we're all in different stages of post wedding life. I'm about 3.5 months out and have long been tasked by all of the post wedding tasks: photos, thank yous, tons of left over wedding stuff.
This weekend I went to my mom's house where most of my wedding decor was stored. We opened the garage door and just sold it all!
It feels so good to be moving on and getting rid of all the stuff. I also really enjoyed the $400 I earned
It just felt so good I had to share. Maybe inspire others in the same spot.
Re: Wedding Cleanse
Wow! That's great! I need the inspirattion and money. I have tons of votive candles, wine corks and spring colour flower petals, that I never used for my wedding that I would love to get rid of but I'm too lazy to post it on the TheKnot or Craigslist.
Haha, my Mom and MOH cleaned up the reception area and split the candleholders, vases, etc. They both entertain a lot and wanted all that stuff.
My dress is still hanging up in it's bag in my closet. I probably need to decide what I want to do with it sooner or later, seeing as how it's been... 3 years!
I need to get my dress cleaned and sold. I think it will take some time to sell since I'm going to ask a pretty penny for it. I'm also petite, so it will take the right buyer.
I'm ready to put it towards the furniture fund for sure.
I cannot see selling my dress so I might donated or do one of those Trash the Dress photo sessions. I would love to do it in Bend in the snow.

I thought this post was going to be about some crash wedding diet. Haha.
Great job freeing yourself of the wedding stuff. ?
Hahaha, Bula. That would be the honeymoon cleanse. Thankfully, not eating a 3 course meal every night has helped that cause.
I think a TTD session would be beautiful. My friend's sister went skiing in her dress at Bachelor the day after her wedding. It made for awesome photos.
