Need restaurant reviews...
My boyfriends birthday is coming up and I he loves pizza and Italian food. I don't though, so we don't go to those kinds of places often. His family is getting together Sunday to celebrate and I thought we could go to Goodfella's. Then on his actual b-day, I thought I would take him to Mama Carolla's. Has anyone been to either of these places. What did you think? Do you have another suggestion.
TIA! Meg

We eat at Goodfella's a lot and really like it. I like their pizza and I've had pasta a couple of times as well and it's always been good.
I've also heard great things about Mama Carolla's and I get the impression that it's probably a bit nicer than Goodfella's.
Another great Italian place is Matteo's in Noblesville. I don't know if they have pizza there, I've only been twice and it's been awhile, but it's very nice and a classy place (read: not kid friendly). Our food was excellent. Here's their website.

Haven't eaten at Goodfella's yet, but let me know how it goes!
I've eaten at Mama Carolla's twice. While it was good, it wasn't the best pasta I've had in town. Although, both times I've had it, it was take out, so I"m probably not giving them a fair shake! I have, however, really enjoyed Amalfi up on 86th St. (in the shopping center across from the Dunkin Donuts) Great homemade gnocchi and their pasta and fish are excellent. I haven't been to Matteo's (next on my list for raved about Italian!), but Amalfi is my fave spot for Italilan so far in Indy.
